Consulting Senior Associate, Geology

Responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations including soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, soil vapor, and indoor air sampling
• Oversee drilling, soil logging, and the installation of monitoring wells
• Perform aquifer testing, well development, and remedial system operations
• Assist with groundwater and wastewater system performance monitoring
• Support Phase I and II environmental assessments for property transactions
• Compile and analyze data to assist in the preparation of technical reports
• Prepare compliance work plans, permits, and reports for air quality, hazardous waste, stormwater, and wastewater
• Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations
• Communicate effectively with subcontractors, regulators, tenants, and clients during field activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in geology, hydrogeology, engineering, environmental science, or a related discipline
• GPA of 3.0 or higher or equivalent experience
• 1+ years of relevant experience
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle for frequent travel
• Willingness to perform field work, including standing and walking for full days
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to Health & Safety protocols
• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification
• GIT or EIT certification
• Experience with technical data recording and report writing
• Local candidates preferred
