Consulting Nurse

Responsibilities

• Install infusion and diabetes medical equipment in patients' homes following quality and safety procedures
• Act as the primary link between hospital structures and patients to coordinate home care transitions
• Educate and train patients, their families, and healthcare staff on equipment operation, safety, and maintenance
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of medical devices at the patient's residence
• Monitor patient progress and report on treatment adherence, effectiveness, and difficulties to prescribers and sales representatives
• Manage medical-technical stock and collect necessary administrative information for patient files
• Participate in internal and external training sessions for hospital staff and independent nurses
• Provide on-call support according to the established schedule

Requirements

• State Registered Nurse (Infirmier diplômé d’Etat)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in diabetes, neurology, or pediatrics OR 3 years of experience in chronic pathology or freelance nursing
• Valid driver's license (Permis B) is mandatory for frequent travel
• Proficiency in using IT tools and computer systems
• Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with patients and medical professionals
