Consulting Architect - Observability

Responsibilities

• Deliver Elastic solutions and expertise to drive customer business value
• Facilitate strategy, roadmap, design, and sizing in client workshops
• Manage end-to-end delivery of Elastic projects and develop proof-of-concepts
• Handle requirements gathering, project tasks, status, and timelines
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and support teams to identify feature improvements
• Engage with Sales teams to scope opportunities and assess technical risks
• Mentor team members and facilitate field feedback to product teams

Requirements

• Active Elastic Observability Engineer certification (Mandatory)
• Minimum 7 years as a Consulting Architect or senior IT functional leadership
• Proven experience delivering professional services in complex enterprise environments
• Expertise in Enterprise Observability (Metrics, Logs, APM, UEM)
• Hands-on experience with Linux, networking, security, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, or Go)
• Ability to travel to client sites up to 20%

Preferred Qualifications

• Gen AI certification from a cloud service provider
• Additional Elastic Certifications
• Experience with Ansible, JavaScript, or Terraform
• Experience working with pre-sales to deliver against Statements of Work (SOW)
• Experience as a technical instructor or public speaker
