Consultant/Specialist Pediatrician

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care for infants, children, and adolescents, including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
• Conduct routine pediatric examinations, growth monitoring, and developmental assessments
• Manage common pediatric illnesses such as respiratory infections, gastrointestinal conditions, and allergies
• Deliver preventive healthcare services, including vaccination programs and health education for caregivers
• Diagnose and manage pediatric emergencies and acute illnesses requiring immediate attention
• Coordinate care with pediatric subspecialists, neonatologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records in compliance with UAE regulations
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement programs, and pediatric health initiatives

Requirements

• Board Certified Pediatrician with recognized specialist qualifications (e.g., American Board, UK CCT, MRCPCH, FRCPCH, European Board, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience post-specialist or board certification
• Eligibility for DOH, DHA, or MOH licensing in the UAE
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary hospital environment serving a diverse international population
