About the role
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and surgically manage brain, spine, and peripheral nervous system disorders
- Perform cranial surgeries, spine surgeries, tumor resections, and neurotrauma procedures
- Conduct minimally invasive and image-guided neurosurgical interventions
- Manage complex neurological conditions, including brain tumors and vascular malformations
- Provide pre-operative evaluation and post-operative care, including ICU coordination
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurology, oncology, and radiology
- Participate in emergency neurosurgical services and on-call rotations
- Ensure adherence to clinical governance, patient safety, and international surgical protocols
- Mentor junior doctors and surgical trainees
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5+ years of experience post board certification
- Recognized board certification such as American Board, UK CCT/FRCS, European Board, Royal College (Canada), Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, or MCh/DNB Neurosurgery
- Eligibility for Dubai Health Authority (DHA) or Department of Health (DOH) license conversion
