Consultant/Specialist Neurologist

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage neurological disorders including stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease
• Provide acute management for neurological emergencies such as stroke and seizure disorders
• Conduct detailed neurological examinations and clinical assessments
• Interpret and utilize neurodiagnostic tests including EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, and neuroimaging
• Develop individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic neurological conditions
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, intensivists, and rehabilitation teams for multidisciplinary patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records in compliance with UAE regulations
• Participate in clinical audits, research activities, and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Specialist qualification or Board Certification (e.g., American Board, UK CCT/MRCP, Royal College Canada, Australian FRACP, or Arab Board)
• Minimum of 3+ years of post-specialist or post-board certification experience
• Eligibility for DHA, DOH, or MOH licensing in the UAE
• Expertise in interpreting EEG, EMG, and neuroimaging
