Consultant/Specialist Neurologist

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage neurological disorders including stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and neuropathies
• Provide acute management of neurological emergencies such as stroke and seizure disorders
• Conduct detailed neurological examinations and clinical assessments
• Interpret and utilize neurodiagnostic tests including EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, and neuroimaging
• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic neurological conditions
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, intensivists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation teams for multidisciplinary care
• Participate in stroke programs, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records in compliance with UAE regulations

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience post specialist or board certification
• Recognized specialist qualifications such as American Board, UK CCT/MRCP/FRCP, Royal College (Canada), Australian Fellowship (FRACP), Arab Board, or equivalent
• Eligibility for DHA, DOH, or MOH licensing
