Consultant/Specialist Neurologist

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage neurological disorders including stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and neuropathies
• Provide acute management for neurological emergencies such as stroke and seizure disorders
• Conduct detailed neurological examinations and clinical assessments
• Interpret neurodiagnostic tests including EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, and neuroimaging
• Develop individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic neurological conditions
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, intensivists, and rehabilitation teams for multidisciplinary care
• Participate in stroke programs and clinical quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience post-specialist or board certification
• Recognized specialist qualification (e.g., American Board, UK CCT, MRCP, FRCP, Royal College Canada, FRACP, or Arab Board)
• Eligibility for DHA, DOH, or MOH licensing in the UAE
