About the role
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases, including CKD, AKI, and glomerular disorders
- Oversee and manage hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis programs
- Provide comprehensive pre- and post-transplant management for renal transplantation patients
- Manage electrolyte imbalances, hypertension, and fluid disorders
- Conduct and interpret renal function tests, kidney biopsies, and imaging
- Provide inpatient and outpatient nephrology consultations
- Collaborate with ICU teams for critical care nephrology cases
- Participate in clinical governance, quality assurance, and infection control programs
- Supervise junior doctors and contribute to academic and training programs
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5+ years of experience post board certification
- Recognized board certification such as American Board of Internal Medicine, UK CCT/MRCP, European Board, Royal College (Canada), Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, or DM/DNB Nephrology
- Eligibility for Dubai Health Authority (DHA) or Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DOH) license conversion
