Consultant/Specialist Nephrologist

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases, including CKD, AKI, and glomerular disorders
• Oversee and manage hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis programs
• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-transplant management for renal transplantation patients
• Manage electrolyte imbalances, hypertension, and fluid disorders
• Conduct and interpret renal function tests, kidney biopsies, and imaging
• Provide inpatient and outpatient nephrology consultations
• Collaborate with ICU teams for critical care nephrology cases
• Participate in clinical governance, quality assurance, and infection control programs
• Supervise junior doctors and contribute to academic and training programs

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5+ years of experience post board certification
• Recognized board certification such as American Board of Internal Medicine, UK CCT/MRCP, European Board, Royal College (Canada), Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, or DM/DNB Nephrology
• Eligibility for Dubai Health Authority (DHA) or Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DOH) license conversion
