Consultant/Specialist Anesthesiologist

Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative patient evaluation and comprehensive anesthesia planning
• Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia for various surgical and diagnostic procedures
• Monitor patients during surgery to ensure optimal physiological stability
• Deliver postoperative pain management and recovery care
• Participate in critical care and emergency response as required
• Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, and nursing teams to ensure patient safety
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality assurance, and patient safety initiatives
• Maintain strict compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and hospital protocols

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience post-specialist or board certification
• Recognized specialist qualification (e.g., American Board, UK CCT/FRCA, European Board, Royal College Canada, Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, or FCPS)
• Eligibility for DHA / DOH license conversion
