Consultant/Senior Consultant - Tax Advisory

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex Australian and cross-border tax matters
• Support transaction work including asset acquisitions, divestments, and CGT advisory
• Assist with tax due diligence and provide input into transaction structuring
• Prepare detailed, technically robust written advice on restructuring and cross-border issues
• Undertake in-depth technical tax research and apply legislation to practical scenarios
• Support ATO reviews, audits, and dispute-related matters
• Assist with structuring matters including controlled entities and group arrangements

Requirements

• Experience operating at Consultant or Senior Consultant level
• Tax advisory experience within a Big 4, mid-tier professional services, or law firm
• Strong Australian tax technical capability with an advisory focus
• Experience or interest in transaction tax (buy/sell side), CGT, and cross-border considerations
• Proven ability to conduct technical research and draft high-quality written advice
• Tertiary qualifications in Law, Commerce, Accounting, or a similar field
