Consultant - Water

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to develop asset management capabilities in areas such as investment planning, maturity, and data management
• Contribute to project delivery by facilitating workshops, drafting reports, and preparing presentations
• Support business development activities by building client relationships and identifying growth opportunities
• Apply project management practices to ensure successful delivery of multi-disciplinary programs
• Develop and execute effective communication strategies tailored to specific client needs
• Participate in short-term travel across Australia and New Zealand as required

Requirements

• Understanding of project management principles and experience delivering work to time, cost, and quality expectations
• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders and build rapport through strong communication skills
• Degree-level qualification in engineering, business, economics, or a related field
• Experience in asset management within industry or consulting environments
• Knowledge of asset-intensive sectors such as water, power, rail, or utilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in asset management capability assessments and developing improvement roadmaps
• Exposure to delivering multi-year, transformational programs
• Background in power sector safety or technical planning
• Familiarity with asset management software systems and implementation
• Experience with investment planning, business case development, or portfolio prioritisation
