Consultant Vascular Surgeon

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level clinical assessment and management for patients with vascular disease in outpatient and inpatient settings
• Perform and oversee open and endovascular vascular procedures in line with approved clinical privileges
• Ensure comprehensive pre-operative evaluation, intra-operative decision-making, and post-operative follow-up
• Collaborate with Anesthesia, ICU, Emergency Medicine, Radiology, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care
• Participate in MDT discussions, case reviews, and shared decision-making for complex vascular cases
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with DOH requirements and hospital policies
• Contribute to clinical governance, audits, patient safety initiatives, and quality improvement activities

Requirements

• MBBS degree or equivalent
• Specialty certification in Vascular Surgery (e.g., CCT, Board, or recognized higher specialist qualification)
• Valid UAE medical license or DOH eligibility
• Proven consultant-level clinical capability in managing vascular surgical cases
• Ability to deliver consistent clinical coverage on a part-time basis (1–2 days per week)
