Consultant Vascular Surgeon

Responsibilities

• Perform a full spectrum of vascular surgical procedures, including both open and endovascular interventions
• Diagnose and manage arterial, venous, and lymphatic disorders such as peripheral arterial disease and aneurysms
• Conduct preoperative assessments, surgical planning, and postoperative management
• Perform minimally invasive endovascular procedures, including angioplasty, stenting, and thrombolysis
• Manage vascular emergencies, including acute limb ischemia and ruptured aneurysms
• Collaborate with interventional radiologists, cardiologists, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate and compliant electronic medical records and clinical documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of post-specialist or board certification experience
• Recognized board certification such as American Board of Vascular Surgery, UK CCT/FRCS, European Board, Royal College (Canada), Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, or FCPS
• Eligibility for DHA, DOH, or MOH license conversion
• Proven expertise in both open and endovascular surgical techniques
