Consultant, Valuation

Responsibilities

• Work independently on complex property valuations across a variety of asset types
• Conduct independent research and perform detailed calculations to support the Property Valuation practice
• Prepare complex valuation reports and engage with industry peers for review
• Actively engage with clients to understand requests and discuss valuation findings
• Contribute to software databases to ensure high-quality data inputs and report integrity
• Mentor Analysts on basic appraisal practices
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines

Requirements

• Post-Secondary Degree, preferably with a business or real estate background
• Minimum of two years of experience in valuation
• AACI designation or nearing completion of the designation
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel independently (50% to 100%)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with appraisal-related software such as Argus
• Understanding of property tax and the appeal process
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
