Consultant Valuation, Modelling & Economics (Financial Services)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze companies, financial instruments, and intangible assets within the financial services sector.
• Advise global banking, insurance, and asset management clients on purchase price calculations and strategic options.
• Perform valuations across the entire transaction cycle for diverse financial service business models.
• Utilize capital market data providers such as Bloomberg, S&P Market Intelligence, and ThomsonONE.
• Work with advanced data analytics and software solutions like PowerBI to visualize credit portfolios and market trends.
• Challenge central assumptions in industry-defining transactions and restructurings to support top-management decision-making.

Requirements

• Successfully completed degree in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a comparable quantitative field.
• Strong passion for the financial services industry.
• Proficiency in both German and English at a C1 level or higher.
• Agile, curious, and team-oriented mindset.

• Initial practical experience through internships or working student positions in a relevant field.
