Consultant - Valuation (Audit Support - Purchase Price Allocation)

Responsibilities

• Provide audit support on financial reporting valuations, focusing on Purchase Price Allocations (PPA)
• Prepare and review valuation analyses for intangible assets
• Review and challenge management assumptions, forecasts, discount rates, and methodologies
• Apply valuation approaches including DCF, MPEEM, Relief-from-Royalty, and Market methods
• Develop and review financial and valuation models, including sensitivity and scenario analysis
• Conduct market research, industry benchmarking, and comparable analysis
• Collaborate with audit teams to resolve valuation issues impacting audit conclusions
• Prepare clear documentation, working papers, and valuation memos supporting audit findings
• Manage multiple engagements and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in valuation and Purchase Price Allocations (PPA)
• Strong hands-on experience preparing and reviewing PPAs
• Working knowledge of IFRS 13, IFRS 3, IAS 36, ASC 805, and ASC 350
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation capabilities
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA in Finance
• CFA or CA designation
• Relevant professional qualifications or further studies
• Experience with a leading consulting or professional services firm
