Consultant Urology Surgeon

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage urological conditions including kidney stones, prostate diseases, and urologic cancers
• Perform advanced urological surgical procedures including endoscopic, laparoscopic, and open surgeries
• Manage emergency urological cases such as urinary obstruction, trauma, and acute infections
• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations for urology patients
• Perform minimally invasive procedures such as cystoscopy, TURP, and ureteroscopy
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nephrology, oncology, and radiology
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with DOH Abu Dhabi regulations
• Participate in clinical audits, research, teaching, and CME activities

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by DOH Abu Dhabi
• Board Certification or Fellowship in Urology
• Valid DOH Consultant License or Eligibility Letter
• 5–7 years of post-specialist experience in a tertiary care or academic hospital
• Strong expertise in endourology and minimally invasive urological surgery

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in laparoscopic and robotic urological surgery
• Exposure to uro-oncology and complex reconstructive urology
• Academic or research background
• Ability to work in a multicultural healthcare environment
