Consultant Urologist

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic urological disorders, including kidney stones, prostate disorders, and urological cancers.
• Perform outpatient consultations, assessments, and follow-up appointments.
• Conduct and interpret diagnostic investigations such as ultrasound, cystoscopy, and urodynamic studies.
• Perform elective and emergency urological surgeries, including minimally invasive and laparoscopic procedures.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and provide pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including oncologists, nephrologists, and radiologists.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with DHA, MOHAP, or DOH regulations.
• Participate in on-call duties and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a recognized specialty training program in Urology.
• Board Certification in Urology.
• Valid DHA, MOHAP, or DOH Consultant License (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Minimum of 5 years of post-board certification experience as a Consultant Urologist.
• Proven expertise in managing complex urological cases.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fellowship training in a urological subspecialty.
• Experience in minimally invasive, laparoscopic, and endoscopic urological procedures.
• Previous experience working in an internationally accredited hospital.
