Consultant Systems Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day application system operations and manage incident processes
• Debug business-impacting issues within complex application systems
• Follow best practices to ensure system stability, availability, and operational efficiency
• Use continuous delivery practices to evolve and support high-quality software
• Implement logging, alerting, and monitoring mechanisms to identify root causes of incidents
• Derive meaningful reports and KPIs to improve incident response times
• Apply latest technology trends to solve diverse client problems

Requirements

• Experience with programming languages such as Java or .NET
• Understanding of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell
• Experience working with relational or non-relational databases
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure pipelines
• Exposure to application monitoring tools like DataDog, Prometheus, or Grafana
• Comfort working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Strong English communication skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders
• Ability to participate in a rotation-based 24x7 team environment
