Consultant, Support for Chronic Kidney Disease Management intervention in Morocco

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with NCD partners, districts, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection (MHSP), and other public health programs.
• Convene and manage a CKD expert advisory group to support the development and scale-up of policy and guidelines.
• Provide technical guidance and monitor field activities, including project design, social mobilization, and communication.
• Coordinate activities with selected health facilities, including site assessments, supportive supervision visits, and performance improvement plans.
• Strengthen healthcare worker capacity through training, mentorship, and support for NCD diagnostic capabilities.
• Oversee community-based outreach and demand generation activities to increase awareness and access to integrated NCD screening.
• Lead project reporting and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in public health, Nursing, Social Sciences, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public health programme implementation.
• Proven experience working with government entities, health facilities, and district-level leaders.
• Strong data management and analytical skills, including experience in monitoring and evaluation.
• Proficiency in both English and French.
• Must be based in Morocco with legal work authorization.
• Ability to travel frequently to project sites within Morocco.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically related to non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
• A strong existing network across sectors within the NCD community.
• Proven experience coordinating community-based health interventions and screenings.
