About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end operations for the PIVOT-TPT project in Odisha, specifically in the Kalahandi and Koraput districts.
- Serve as the primary interface with the State TB Cell-Odisha, State TB Officer, and district NTEP teams.
- Oversee the rollout of the virtual TPT clinic model, including provider engagement and digital workflow adoption.
- Manage private provider mapping, readiness audits, and the formalization of engagement with high-load private providers.
- Coordinate diagnostic services, including portable digital X-ray screening, and ensure supply chain management of TPT drugs.
- Conduct monthly review meetings with District TB Officers and perform supportive supervision visits to TPT clinic hubs.
- Monitor project KPIs, including digital X-ray targets, TPT initiations, and provider retention.
- Document implementation learnings and support transition planning for long-term sustainability with the NTEP.
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree in Public Health, Medicine, Social Sciences, or Health Administration.
- 5-6 years of experience in public health program management, with 2-3 years specifically in TB elimination programs.
- Strong understanding of NTEP guidelines, the TPT cascade, and Ni-kshay systems.
- Experience managing health programs in aspirational or tribal districts and working in rural/remote settings.
- Proficiency in Excel, data analysis tools, and digital health monitoring systems.
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and Odia.
- Ability to travel extensively within Kalahandi and Koraput districts (approximately 50-60% of the time).
