Consultant Stagiaire Deal Advisory Sustainability

Responsibilities

• Perform ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) and EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) due diligence for investment funds and industrial clients during acquisition and sale processes
• Identify material issues, including risks and value creation opportunities
• Conduct industry benchmarks and assist in the qualitative and quantitative review of data rooms
• Prepare communication materials and exchange documents for stakeholders, including clients and targets
• Contribute to the drafting of commercial proposals by identifying sectoral material issues
• Conduct regulatory monitoring at national and European levels regarding ESG and EHS

Requirements

• Student at a top Engineering or Business school, nearing graduation
• Specialization in Environment (ideally a double degree in Finance and Environment)
• Knowledge of ESG regulations (e.g., CSRD, TCFD, SFDR, Taxonomy) and/or EHS regulations (e.g., REACH, ICPE, IED)
• Strong analytical, synthesis, and organizational skills
• Fluent in English
• Proactive attitude with a strong sense of curiosity and rigor
