Consultant Sports Medicine Physician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions, including acute and chronic presentations
• Provide non-surgical treatment plans, including rehabilitation protocols and return-to-play strategies
• Perform clinical assessments, functional evaluations, and movement analysis for injury prevention
• Deliver injection therapies such as corticosteroid or PRP under appropriate clinical guidance
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Develop and oversee injury prevention programs and pre-participation screenings
• Educate patients and athletes on recovery strategies and long-term musculoskeletal health
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and comply with UAE healthcare regulations

Requirements

• Board certification in Sports Medicine (e.g., American Board, UK CCT/SEM, European Board, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 3+ years of post-specialist or post-board certification experience
• Expertise in non-surgical injury management and musculoskeletal care
• Eligibility for DHA, DOH, or MOH license conversion
