3+ years post specialist or board certification, American Board of Internal Medicine – Pulmonary Medicine, UK CCT / MRCP / FRCP, European Board Certification, Royal College Certification, Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, DM / DNB / FCPS Pulmonology, DOH / DHA / MOH licensing eligibility

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage respiratory diseases including asthma, COPD, pneumonia, and bronchitis
  • Evaluate and treat complex pulmonary conditions such as interstitial lung disease and pulmonary hypertension
  • Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests (PFTs), spirometry, and other respiratory diagnostic investigations
  • Conduct bronchoscopy and related pulmonary procedures where clinically indicated
  • Manage sleep-related breathing disorders and coordinate sleep study evaluations
  • Provide inpatient consultations for patients with acute respiratory failure and severe pulmonary infections
  • Collaborate with critical care teams to manage ventilated or critically ill respiratory patients
  • Develop personalized treatment plans and long-term disease management strategies
  • Provide patient education on smoking cessation, pulmonary rehabilitation, and preventive care
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records in accordance with regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years post specialist or board certification
  • Recognized specialist qualification such as American Board (Pulmonary Medicine), UK CCT/MRCP/FRCP, European Board, Royal College (Canada), Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, or DM/DNB/FCPS Pulmonology
  • Eligibility for DOH, DHA, or MOH licensing
