3+ years post specialist or board certification, American Board of Internal Medicine – Pulmonary Medicine, UK CCT / MRCP / FRCP, European Board Certification, Royal College Certification, Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, DM / DNB / FCPS Pulmonology, DOH / DHA / MOH licensing eligibility
About the role
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage respiratory diseases including asthma, COPD, pneumonia, and bronchitis
- Evaluate and treat complex pulmonary conditions such as interstitial lung disease and pulmonary hypertension
- Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests (PFTs), spirometry, and other respiratory diagnostic investigations
- Conduct bronchoscopy and related pulmonary procedures where clinically indicated
- Manage sleep-related breathing disorders and coordinate sleep study evaluations
- Provide inpatient consultations for patients with acute respiratory failure and severe pulmonary infections
- Collaborate with critical care teams to manage ventilated or critically ill respiratory patients
- Develop personalized treatment plans and long-term disease management strategies
- Provide patient education on smoking cessation, pulmonary rehabilitation, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records in accordance with regulatory standards
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years post specialist or board certification
- Recognized specialist qualification such as American Board (Pulmonary Medicine), UK CCT/MRCP/FRCP, European Board, Royal College (Canada), Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, or DM/DNB/FCPS Pulmonology
- Eligibility for DOH, DHA, or MOH licensing
