Consultant/Specialist Psychiatrist

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental status examinations, risk evaluations, and diagnostic assessments
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of psychiatric conditions, such as mood, anxiety, psychotic, and personality disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating pharmacological and psychotherapeutic approaches
• Provide crisis intervention and acute psychiatric care within outpatient and inpatient settings
• Collaborate with psychologists, counselors, and social workers to ensure integrated patient care
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with DHA and international standards
• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment options

Requirements

• Board certification from one of the following: American Board (ABPN), UK CCT/GMC Specialist Register, European Board, Canadian/Australian Fellowship, or Arab Board/FCPS/MD Psychiatry
• Minimum of 3–5+ years of post-board experience
• DHA License eligibility or an active license is highly advantageous
