Consultant/Specialist Psychiatrist

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental status examinations and risk evaluations
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of conditions such as mood, anxiety, psychotic, and substance use disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using pharmacological and psychotherapeutic approaches
• Provide crisis intervention and acute psychiatric care within outpatient and inpatient settings
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, counselors, and social workers
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with DHA and international standards
• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment options

Requirements

• American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
• UK CCT / GMC Specialist Register
• European Board Certification
• Canadian or Australian Fellowship
• Arab Board / FCPS / MD Psychiatry
• Minimum 3–5+ years of post-board experience
• DHA License eligibility or an active license
