About the role

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions affecting bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles
  • Perform elective and emergency orthopedic surgeries, including fracture fixation, joint replacements, and arthroscopic procedures
  • Evaluate and treat trauma patients, including fractures, dislocations, and soft tissue injuries
  • Develop individualized treatment plans involving both surgical and conservative management approaches
  • Conduct preoperative assessments and postoperative follow-ups to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation specialists for comprehensive patient care
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic imaging such as X-ray, MRI, and CT for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations

Requirements

  • Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery (e.g., ABOS, FRCS, European Board, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3+ years of post-specialist or post-board certification experience
  • DOH / DHA / MOH licensing eligibility
  • Expertise in fracture fixation and joint replacements
  • Proficiency in arthroscopic procedures
