Consultant/Specialist Internal Medicine Physician

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care for adult patients, including diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases
• Conduct detailed medical evaluations, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments
• Manage complex conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and respiratory disorders
• Deliver preventive healthcare services, including health screenings and lifestyle counseling
• Diagnose and manage acute medical emergencies and coordinate appropriate inpatient care
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
• Coordinate care with subspecialists such as cardiologists, endocrinologists, and pulmonologists
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records in compliance with UAE regulations
• Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Board certification in Internal Medicine (ABIM, UK CCT/MRCP/FRCP, European Board, or equivalent)
• Minimum 3+ years of post-specialist or post-board certification experience
• Eligibility for DOH, DHA, or MOH licensing in the UAE
• Proven ability to manage both outpatient and inpatient adult care
