Consultant Regulatory Transformation - Banking

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in projects regarding regulatory requirements and manage the implementation of regulatory innovations for clients
• Analyze and evaluate complex regulatory requirements and their quantitative and strategic impacts
• Drive strategic development, particularly in optimizing finance and regulatory processes with a focus on reporting systems like GMP and ABACUS
• Support the implementation of transformation programs in regulatory reporting across data, processes, and systems
• Actively participate in regulatory reporting or other reporting systems, potentially with project responsibility
• Develop holistic, practical solutions in close coordination with industry-leading clients

Requirements

• Completed degree in economics or technology
• Relevant professional experience
• Sound experience in regulatory reporting, ideally focusing on GMP and/or ABACUS
• Practical knowledge in implementing regulatory requirements in reporting systems (e.g., data management, reporting logic, functional design)
• Analytical mindset and strong communication skills
• Interest in banking regulation and the digital transformation of the financial industry
• Very good German and English skills (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep process knowledge within the banking industry
• Experience with ABACUS, GMP, or similar regulatory reporting architectures
