Consultant Radiation Oncologist

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients requiring radiation therapy as part of their cancer treatment
• Develop and deliver tailored radiation oncology treatment plans
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborative care planning
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding treatment procedures and side effects
• Maintain thorough and accurate medical documentation in alignment with institutional and regulatory standards
• Stay abreast of advancements and innovations in radiation oncology techniques and technology

Requirements

• Medical degree with specialization in Radiation Oncology
• Board certification in Radiation Oncology is mandatory
• Valid medical license to practice in the Gulf region or relevant jurisdiction
• Proven experience in radiation oncology with expertise in cancer care
• Proficiency in contemporary radiation therapy technologies and treatment planning
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
