Consultant Psychiatrist

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed psychiatric evaluations and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with complex mental health conditions
• Provide expert consultation and lead clinical decision-making within the psychiatric department
• Supervise and mentor junior psychiatrists and other clinical staff to promote best practices
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate patient care
• Contribute to clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records adhering to regulatory standards
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in psychiatry

Requirements

• Medical degree and licensed practicing psychiatrist
• Completion of a recognized psychiatry residency and board certification
• Significant clinical experience in psychiatry with expertise in managing complex cases
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to evidence-based clinical practice and continuous professional development
