About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead clinical care for patients, including psychiatric assessments, treatment planning, and ward rounds
- Act as Responsible Clinician under the Mental Health Act
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care
- Build relationships with referring trusts, community teams, families, and external stakeholders
- Contribute to service development through clinical governance and quality improvement
- Participate in the non-residential on-call rota
Requirements
- Full GMC registration
- Significant experience working within multidisciplinary teams
- Proven leadership in care coordination and discharge planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously using evidence-based practice
