About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans alongside the multidisciplinary team
- Lead ward rounds, MDT meetings, and oversee complex clinical cases including risk management
- Support patients and families with treatment planning, relapse prevention, and recovery
- Provide supervision to junior staff and contribute to service quality and compliance
- Collaborate with site leadership to enhance service delivery and patient experience
Requirements
- Fully registered medical practitioner with the GMC and a valid licence to practise
- On the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Hold Section 12(2) approval and Approved Clinician status
- Experience managing complex eating disorder cases in an inpatient adolescent setting
- Strong clinical leadership and risk management expertise
