About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric care within a secure hospital setting, initially covering low secure services
- Report to the Medical Director and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychology, occupational therapy, and social work
- Contribute to clinical governance at both ward and hospital levels
- Participate in a 1 in 5 non-resident on-call rota covering associated secure units
Requirements
- Fully registered and licensed medical practitioner
- Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists
- On (or eligible for) the Specialist Register
- Approval under Section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act 1983 required or preferred

- Experience in forensic psychiatry
