About the role
Responsibilities
- Undertake comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Lead ward rounds, MDT meetings, and clinical reviews
- Provide oversight of complex case management, including higher-risk patients
- Support patients and families through treatment decisions, relapse prevention, and recovery pathways
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors and healthcare professionals
- Drive service development and ensure regulatory compliance
- Participate in the on-call rota
Requirements
- GMC registration with inclusion on the Specialist Register
- Experience in adolescent psychiatry and/or eating disorders
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care
