Consultant, Product Implementation

Responsibilities

• Facilitate conference calls and customer meetings for small to medium hospital system medication dispensing implementations
• Establish long-term business relationships and rapport with customers
• Guide customer site assessments and facilitate project design and implementation
• Demonstrate knowledge of pharmacy/clinical workflow processes, hospital formulary build, and system integration
• Perform interface validation (ADT, billing, patient profile) and user account role design
• Install and support BD Medication Systems Dispensing software
• Coordinate client resources and assign project tasks

Requirements

• Associates degree or equivalent education and work experience
• Three or more years in a healthcare environment with technical systems involvement
• Expertise in HIS/PIS systems and pharmacy/nursing workflows
• Experience with small to medium health systems
• Ability to travel 60% - 80% (overnight)
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Dispensing software technology experience
• Certifications such as Pharmacy Technician, Informaticist, or LPN
