Consultant Plastic Surgeon

Responsibilities

• Provide expert reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery services
• Perform advanced surgical procedures including trauma reconstruction, burns management, hand surgery, and aesthetic interventions
• Lead outpatient clinics, pre-operative assessments, and post-operative follow-up
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain high standards of clinical documentation, patient safety, and quality assurance
• Participate in on-call duties as required by the department
• Contribute to clinical governance, audits, and continuous quality improvement
• Support training and mentorship of junior doctors and residents

Requirements

• Board Certification in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
• Fluency in Arabic (mandatory)
• Valid license or eligibility for licensing with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
• Strong surgical skills with a proven record in both reconstructive and aesthetic procedures
• Minimum 5–7 years post-consultant experience preferred
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills
