Consultant Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Specialist

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional impairments
• Design and implement individualized rehabilitation programs for stroke, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, chronic pain, and sports injuries
• Perform interventional procedures including joint injections, nerve blocks, and ultrasound-guided treatments
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and pain specialists for multidisciplinary care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust rehabilitation plans to optimize functional outcomes
• Provide post-operative rehabilitation guidance in coordination with orthopedic and neurosurgical teams
• Lead pain management strategies using non-surgical and minimally invasive approaches
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with DHA and international healthcare standards

Requirements

• Board Certification in PM&R (ABPMR, UK CCT/GMC, European Board, Canadian/Australian Fellowship, or equivalent)
• Minimum 3–5+ years of post-board experience
• DHA License eligibility or an active license is an advantage
