Requirements
DDS or DMD degree, Postgraduate training in Periodontics, Valid dental license, Experience in periodontal surgical procedures
About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive periodontal assessments and diagnose related diseases
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Perform surgical procedures including scaling and root planing, gum grafts, and implant placement
- Provide patient education on periodontal disease prevention and maintenance
- Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
- Stay current with advancements in periodontics and incorporate best practices into clinical care
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
- Specialized postgraduate training in Periodontics
- Valid dental license to practice as a periodontist
- Experience in performing complex periodontal surgical and non-surgical procedures
- Strong diagnostic, clinical, and surgical skills
- Excellent communication and patient management skills
