Consultant Pediatric Rehabilitation Physician

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical, cognitive, and developmental assessments for pediatric patients
• Develop individualized rehabilitation treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
• Oversee and coordinate rehabilitative therapies including physical, occupational, and speech therapy
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as required
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation programs, home exercises, and long-term care strategies
• Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation in line with DOH standards

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution
• American Board Certification in Pediatric Rehabilitation (mandatory)
• Minimum 5 years of consultant-level experience in pediatric rehabilitation
• Strong clinical expertise in pediatric rehabilitation therapies and patient management
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage
