Fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus, Board certification, DOH Abu Dhabi licensure eligibility, Minimum 5 years post-fellowship experience, Fellowship training in Uveitis/Ocular Immunology
About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive eye care for pediatric patients with a range of eye conditions
- Perform surgical procedures including strabismus surgery, pediatric cataracts, and congenital glaucoma
- Manage amblyopia, congenital, and developmental eye disorders
- Provide ROP screening and treatment
- Offer expert care for patients with complex uveitis and ocular inflammatory disorders
- Manage systemic and ocular immunosuppression therapies
- Perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Collaborate with rheumatology and other medical specialties in a multidisciplinary setting
- Contribute to teaching, research, and academic initiatives
Requirements
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus
- Fellowship training in Uveitis/Ocular Immunology
- Board certification (or equivalent)
- DOH Abu Dhabi licensure eligibility
- Minimum 5 years of post-fellowship clinical experience
