Consultant Pediatric Neurologist

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage pediatric neurological disorders including epilepsy, developmental delays, neuromuscular disorders, and neurogenetic conditions
• Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and interpret diagnostic investigations such as EEG, MRI, and CT scans
• Develop individualized treatment and long-term management plans for pediatric patients
• Manage both inpatient and outpatient pediatric neurology cases
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including pediatricians, neurosurgeons, and rehabilitation specialists
• Provide counseling and education to patients and families regarding neurological conditions and treatment plans
• Ensure accurate medical documentation and compliance with DOH regulations and hospital policies

Requirements

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution recognized by DOH Abu Dhabi
• Board Certification or Fellowship in Pediatric Neurology
• Valid DOH Consultant License or Eligibility Letter
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant Pediatric Neurologist in a tertiary care or academic hospital
• Strong expertise in pediatric neurological disorders and neurodiagnostic procedures

• Western-trained candidates
• Experience in epilepsy management and pediatric neurophysiology
• Exposure to multidisciplinary pediatric neuroscience programs
• Research publications and academic involvement
