Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage pediatric renal conditions, including CAKUT, nephrotic/nephritic syndromes, and acute/chronic kidney disease
• Oversee peritoneal and hemodialysis programs for pediatric patients
• Collaborate with pediatric urologists, endocrinologists, and intensivists to provide integrated care
• Guide renal transplant evaluations and post-transplant management
• Interpret renal imaging, biopsy results, and advanced laboratory diagnostics
• Educate families on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and long-term care plans
• Participate in clinical audits, research, and CME activities

Requirements

• Board-certified in Pediatric Nephrology (e.g., American Board, Royal College, or equivalent)
• Valid DHA license or eligibility to practice in Dubai
• Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience in a tertiary or academic hospital setting
• Proven expertise in managing complex renal cases and pediatric dialysis
• Strong communication skills and a family-centered approach to care
