Consultant Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad range of pediatric hematologic and oncologic conditions, including leukemia, lymphoma, and clotting disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical protocols and evidence-based practices
• Administer and oversee chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and transfusion therapy
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, radiologists, and nurses
• Provide compassionate counseling and emotional support to patients and their families
• Participate in tumor boards, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with DOH regulations

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MBBS/MD) from a recognized institution
• Specialty training in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
• UK CCT, American Board, or Canadian Board Certification
• DOH Abu Dhabi License or eligibility
• Minimum 5 years of post-board experience in the specialty
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in bone marrow transplantation and advanced pediatric oncology treatments
• Background working in internationally accredited hospitals or tertiary healthcare centers
• Participation in clinical research, academic teaching, or medical publications
