Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologist

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage pediatric gastrointestinal and hepatology disorders, including IBD, celiac disease, GERD, and liver diseases
• Perform pediatric GI procedures such as endoscopy and colonoscopy
• Develop individualized treatment and nutritional management plans for infants, children, and adolescents
• Collaborate with pediatricians, surgeons, dietitians, and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide patient and family education regarding gastrointestinal health and preventive care
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to international clinical standards
• Participate in departmental quality initiatives, research, and continuing medical education

Requirements

• Medical Degree with specialization in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology
• American Board Certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology
• Mandatory Arabic language proficiency
• DHA License or eligibility to practice in Dubai
• Minimum 5 years of consultant-level experience
• Expertise in pediatric endoscopic procedures and advanced GI care
• Strong communication, leadership, and patient-management skills
