Requirements
Medical degree with specialization in otolaryngology, Fellowship or board certification in pediatric ENT preferred, Minimum 5 years post-specialization experience, Western-trained, Fluency in English, Arabic proficiency preferred
About the role
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage ENT disorders in pediatric patients, including congenital and acquired conditions
- Perform surgical procedures such as tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, tympanoplasty, and endoscopic sinus surgery
- Collaborate with audiologists, speech therapists, and pediatricians to provide comprehensive care
- Interpret diagnostic tests including audiograms, CT scans, and MRIs
- Provide consultations and second opinions for complex pediatric ENT cases
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital policies
- Participate in clinical audits, CME activities, and departmental meetings
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors and medical students
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in otolaryngology
- Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience with a focus on pediatric cases
- Western-trained medical professional
- Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Fellowship or board certification in pediatric ENT
- Proficiency in Arabic
