About the role

Responsibilities

Deliver high-standard emergency care to pediatric patients, ranging from neonates to adolescents
Manage acute medical and surgical emergencies, including trauma, infectious diseases, and respiratory distress
Lead multidisciplinary resuscitation teams and manage complex triage cases
Mentor junior physicians and allied health professionals regarding emergency protocols
Collaborate with pediatric ICU, surgical specialties, and laboratory teams to ensure comprehensive care
Contribute to clinical training programs, audits, and research initiatives
Ensure strict compliance with MOH and JCIA standards in all clinical documentation and procedures

Requirements

Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) with completed pediatric and emergency training
Board Certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (e.g., American Board, UK CCT, or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years of post-specialty clinical experience, preferably in a tertiary hospital setting
Valid professional licensure or eligibility for Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) Consultant classification
Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are considered an advantage

Demonstrated leadership experience in high-pressure, fast-paced clinical environments
Proven track record of innovation in pediatric emergency care models or trauma systems
Culturally competent and family-centered approach to patient care
Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and international hospital standards
