Consultant Pediatric Adolescent

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric and adolescent medical conditions, including acute, chronic, developmental, and behavioral disorders
• Provide preventive healthcare services, including immunizations, growth monitoring, and health screenings
• Manage adolescent-specific health concerns such as mental health, eating disorders, and reproductive health education
• Develop individualized care plans focused on physical, emotional, and social well-being
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including subspecialists, psychologists, and nutritionists
• Provide family counseling, patient education, and guidance on adolescent development
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with DOH and hospital regulations
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in Pediatrics or Adolescent Medicine
• Fellowship or Board Certification in Pediatrics or a relevant subspecialty
• Minimum 5 years of consultant-level experience in Pediatrics or Adolescent Medicine
• DOH License or DOH Eligibility Letter preferred
• Strong expertise in adolescent healthcare, preventive medicine, and developmental pediatrics
• Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills
