Consultant Orthopedic Spine Surgeon

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage congenital, degenerative, traumatic, infectious, neoplastic, and deformity-related spinal conditions.
• Perform complex spinal surgical procedures, including minimally invasive spine surgery, spinal decompression, spinal fusion, and deformity correction.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations, including physical examinations and neurological assessments.
• Interpret diagnostic imaging such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI studies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing both surgical and non-surgical management approaches.
• Provide pre-operative counseling, surgical planning, and post-operative follow-up care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including neurologists, pain management specialists, and physiotherapists, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with DHA regulations and hospital policies.
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians and allied healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a recognized Residency in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship or Subspecialty Training in Spine Surgery.
• Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery.
• DHA License or eligibility for Consultant licensure in Dubai.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of post-specialization experience, with significant expertise in spine surgery.
• Proven proficiency in minimally invasive and advanced spinal surgical techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications in minimally invasive spine surgery or advanced spinal techniques.
• Experience working in a tertiary care hospital or an internationally accredited healthcare institution.

Benefits
